If your New Year’s resolutions include more intensive workouts as well as the perfection of circle pit skills, this is your chance: Look no further than end of January, as merchandise firm EMP has packed a brutal dose of Hardcore, Punk and Metal bands in their 14th version of the annual EMP Persistence Tour to the beloved venue Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen.
The scheduled seven bands are going to kick your ass in every way possible. Among them are SICK OF IT ALL, a nearly prehistoric New York Hardcore icon of the past three decades. Also on board are IGNITE, an American melodic Hardcore band from Orange County, California, as well as MUNICIPAL WASTE, a Thrash Metal band from Richmond, Virginia. So be prepared for your new 6-hour workout routine, involving endless stagediving and crowd surfing activities, as well as circle pits and walls of death.
