Amanda Sommerville’s Trillium, My Favorite Scar, Dead Man’s Curse
This evening basically only presents heavy headliners at the small stage at 013, so make sure you don’t miss out on tickets. TRILLIUM is the new band around Amanda Summervile, an American singer who worked with amongst others AFTER FOREVER, EPICA, KAMELOT and AVANTASIA. She replaced Simone Simmons during an American tour and provided backing vocals for KAMELOT more than once, but was also successful with her solo album ‘Windows’. TRILLIUM started out in 2011 and brings together all her experiences in one mix of gothic, symphonic and progressive metal.
MY FAVORITE SCAR earned their place in the scene the last couple of years as support for amongst others NICKELBACK, MEGADETH and KISS. This fact that this alternative rock band from The Netherlands is compared to ALTER BRIDGE and SHINEDOWN sets the bar high! DEAD MAN’S CURSE is back again in 013 after supporting KORN in 2011. Originating from bands such as BLIND SIGHT, BORN FROM PAIN and RAZOR CRUSADE, DEAD MAN’s CURSE brings to the stage a portion of heavy rock with roots from 90s grunge.
