Following the unbelievably successful 2016/2017 tour in support of their 16th studio album, ‘The Book Of Souls’, IRON MAIDEN returns to the tour bus for a series of arena and festival events in Europe in 2018 as part of the “Legacy of the Beast World Tour” which will open in Tallinn, Estonia on May 26th and end on August 10th at the O2 Arena in London. In Germany, IRON MAIDEN will play on 9th June 2018 in Munich on the Königsplatz as headliner of the Rockavaria Festival, on 10th June 2018 in Hannover on the Expo Plaza, on 13th June 2018 in Berlin at the Waldbühne and on 30th June 2018 at the open air exhibition site in Freiburg. The full tour schedule for Europe is available on ironmaiden.com and the tour is expected to continue in 2019.The “Legacy Of The Beast World Tour” concept was inspired by MAIDEN's mobile game and comic book of the same name, and the set will feature a number of different yet interlocking "worlds", with a setlist that covers a wide range of 1980s material spiced up with a handful of surprises from later albums. KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will be MAIDEN’s Special Guest at the European headline shows from 26th May to 1st July, and in the UK from 31st July to 10th August. Guest artists at other events are currently finalized and soon to be announced.
