Almost exactly 20 years ago, THRICE’s ‘The Artist In The Ambulance’ was one of the most ground-breaking albums of Post Hardcore and Emo. The Californians hit a nerve with this record and blazed a new trail musically. The band itself doesn’t quite see it that way, having reinvented itself as many times as it has recorded over its long career, the truth is that THRICE themselves were never really satisfied with this album, and if they were to hear it today, singers and Guitarist Dustin Kensrue says it’s not at all the sound they had in mind, because THRICE have always managed to add the icing on the cake to their exciting sound on stage. With their special guests, Copenhagen Post-Metal band TOWN PORTAL, each show promises to be an opulent experience.
