JOEL BRANDENSTEIN announces his fourth studio album, ‘Emotionen II’. With ‘Emotionen II’, he opens a new yet deeply familiar chapter in his musical journey. Set for release this summer, the singer-songwriter’s fourth studio album deliberately reconnects with his debut record, ‘Emotionen’, which entered the German Albums Chart at No. 1 upon its release.
The title is no coincidence. ‘Emotionen II’ is an intensely personal album that tells Joel’s life story, one song at a time. Each track reflects the experiences, personal growth, and emotions that have shaped him over the years. Every song earned its place on the record through careful consideration - nothing is accidental, and nothing feels arbitrary. It is an album that took time to create, and it is precisely that patience that gives it its honesty and authenticity.
A special highlight for fans: for the very first time, JOEL BRANDENSTEIN’s music will be released on vinyl. Staying true to a “back to the roots” philosophy, the record will be available both as a standalone LP and as part of an exclusive collector’s box set. Carefully curated by Joel and his team, the limited-edition box is available for pre-order exclusively through his official online store.
What makes ‘Emotionen II’ particularly significant is the way it has been created. The album is being released entirely independently - without the backing of a major record label, without industry pressure, and without chasing chart success. Instead, JOEL BRANDENSTEIN is releasing the record through his own label, JB Freie Musik.

This philosophy extends beyond the album itself. From 23 September to 19 October 2026, JOEL BRANDENSTEIN will embark on the “Emotionen II Tour”, performing in 15 cities across Germany. Every aspect of the tour is being independently organised by the artist and his team, promising an experience that is intimate, authentic, and just as personal as the songs themselves.
Doors for all concerts will open at 7:00 PM, with performances beginning at 8:00 PM and concluding at approximately 10:00 PM.
