Duran Duran - “UK + EU Autumn Tour”
More than four decades after reshaping the sound and image of modern Pop, DURAN DURAN will return to Hamburg for a major arena show. On 5 October 2026, the British music icons will take over the Barclays Arena with a career-spanning performance built around timeless hits, new material and the polished live energy that has kept the band at the forefront of international music.
Formed in Birmingham, DURAN DURAN became one of the defining bands of the New Wave and Synth-Pop era. Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, combining sharp songwriting, innovative production and a visual style that helped transform the modern music video.
The Hamburg audience can expect a set reaching across the band’s extensive catalogue, from early classics such as ‘Rio’, ‘Hungry Like the Wolf’, ‘Girls on Film’ and ‘The Wild Boys’ to later favourites including ‘Ordinary World’. The show will also draw on the band’s more recent creative period, including the 2023 album ‘Danse Macabre’ and the 2026 single ‘Free To Love’, recorded with Nile Rodgers.
DURAN DURAN remain a formidable live act rather than a nostalgia attraction. Their concerts connect the sleek rhythms and dramatic hooks of their early work with the confidence of a band still releasing new music, selling out arenas and reaching audiences across generations.
Following successful arena tours in the United Kingdom and North America and a landmark Halloween headline show in Manchester in 2025, the autumn 2026 tour brings the band back to major European venues. Hamburg is one of only two announced German dates, making the Barclays Arena concert a rare opportunity to experience DURAN DURAN live in Germany.
