Die Fantastischen Vier - “Der Letzte Bus Tour 2026-28”
It stands there once more. As he has so many times before. The engine is running. The parking lights are on. And that unmistakable feeling - the restless anticipation that always comes just before departure - hangs in the air. You know what’s about to happen. And yet, this time, everything is different.
With “Der letzte Bus” (The Last Bus), DIE FANTASTISCHEN VIER announce the most emotional tour of their legendary career. After more than three decades together, over a thousand concerts, and countless nights spent on the road, Germany’s Hip-Hop pioneers are embarking on one final major journey + bringing with them everything fans could hope for: spectacular stages, an all-new production, and an outstanding live band.
Thirty-six years of Hip-Hop history. One final chapter. This tour is a celebration of everything that came before + a look back at more than 36 years spent travelling between tour buses, spotlights, and songs that have become the soundtrack of several generations. It is the story of a band that helped write German music history.
A band that played a defining role in establishing German-language Hip-Hop and went on to shape the industry far beyond their own music through the founding of Four Music and the booking agency Four Artists in the mid-1990s. Today, Smudo, Thomas D, Michi Beck, and And.Ypsilon remain the very same pioneers who introduced Hip-Hop to mainstream Germany.
In 1991, they released ‘Jetzt Geht’s Ab’, the first German-language Hip-Hop album. One year later, they made history with ‘Die da!?!?’, becoming the first German rap group ever to break into the national Top Ten while dominating radio stations across the country. They proved that German-language Rap could be authentic, intelligent, humorous, and commercially successful - all at once.
Few German artists have maintained that level of success over four decades. DIE FANTASTISCHEN VIER have repeatedly reached the top of the charts with new albums, a testament to both their enduring creativity and their lasting cultural relevance. With classics such as ‘MFG’, ‘Troy’, ‘Sie ist weg’, ‘Tag am Meer’, and ‘Zusammen’, they created the soundtrack of multiple generations while continuing to fill arenas, stadiums, and major open-air festivals.
Yet “Der letzte Bus” is more than a farewell. It is one final adventure. One last journey across the country. One last full-speed ride. One last celebration of lights, noise, and love. One last impossible touring schedule - four cities in four days, enormous logistical challenges, endless overnight drives, and life on the motorway. And they’ll keep doing it for at least 18 months, making sure to stop at as many places as possible that have been part of their remarkable journey over the years.
This tour is for everyone who has ever said, “I’ve never had the chance to see them live” or “It’s been far too long since the last time.” It’s for everyone who wants to discover why DIE FANTASTISCHEN VIER have always been about more than music. For everyone who has already been part of this extraordinary story - and for everyone who still wants to become part of it. Because some moments only happen once. All aboard. It’s time to depart.
