In 1999 the foundation stone was laid for a band that - from the beginning - created a special and moody atmosphere during their concerts with their easy and frequently bold character. For a long time they followed the footsteps of medieval sounds based on the motto 'Music from all times and all countries'. But dancing, jugglery, fire-eating and fooling around was not enough for them. In 2006 SCHELMISH made their first steps into electronic music. Ever since they combine traditional sounds with bass, e-guitar and synthesizer elements in an innovative and experimental way opened up a whole new horizon in the 'Shelmography'. Meanwhile they’re not only appearing on medieval-markets, banquets, live-role-playing games and traditional concerts, but also cast a spell on the audiences with their rock program, but not only in Germany. Also abroad, especially in England SHELMISH are already well-known.
