Located in the federal state of Hessen and half an hour away from Frankfurt am Main, Darmstadt is primarily known for its Technical University and the famous international companies operating from there. For almost 11 years, the SCHLOSSGRABENFEST, a music festival, has become a further attraction that especially enriches Darmstadt´s cultural scene. Many culinary delicacies from all over the world, free admission and an excellent musical line-up attracted more than 400,000 visitors in 2008.
Right now, this year´s preparation of the event is running at full speed; the list concerning all performing artists will be announced in the upcoming weeks. Anyhow, you can be sure that the organizers will make an interesting selection to offer an amazing programme.
