Kamelot - Rule the world tour Europe 2009: Kamelot + Delain+ Serenity

Kamelot has added a third European part to their tour in support of their latest album 'Ghost Opera' that first hit the streets in June 2007. The start of 2009's touring season gets a kick off in the 013 venue in Tilburg, the Netherlands. The unique blend of power-, heavy- and progressive metal of this US band with Norwegian frontman Roy Kahn is in high demand, which is reflected in the fast selling of tickets for this sold out show.

So what can we expect? Astonishing riffs and soaring melodies and if the live dvd 'One cold winter's night'  (2006) is anything to go by we are in for a real treat! The band promises on their website "it will be a show to remember".Surely Kamelot will make good on their promise and probably harvest new followers on what is already promising to become one of the most exciting shows of this year.

Special guests on part of the tour are Hollands very own Delain. After the release of their debut album 'Lucidity' Delain has toured extensively and succesfully throughout Holland and even abroad. Now it is time to see what experience they have gained from touring as they will present material from their new album 'April Rain' to the audience. The Tilburg audience is getting a premiere, because this performance is only one night after the album release show for 'April Rain', which is scheduled to be released on March 30th. According to Martijn Westerholt the new songs are "more metal and less poppy than those of the debut album and a real team effort".Let's find out how this promise materialises on stage.
