Relative newcomer to the Industrial Noize scene, TAPEWYRM from Oxford/ England, initially surfaced as a studio project at the tail end of 2010. Having spent the majority of 2011 experimenting refining its aural aesthetic, TAPEWYRM released a first demo E.P., ‘Nightmares & Noizescapes Vol 1’. With their songs, the project blends cold, merciless noise with aggressive rhythms, showing a lot of potential with this first release. Its brutal, it's violent, relentless and disturbing and available as free download on the band’s Bandcamp page.
Conclusion: Even though the EP is really short it gives an addicting new edge on a very established musical style.
