AXE CRAZY is the first Polish band I review, the guys hail from Lędziny, Silesia in Poland and they play fast, straight Metal without frills. High vocals, double bass screeching guitars and everything beautifully old-school. The band name was taken from JAGUAR’s 1982 title track. The young band was formed in 2010 by Adrian and Robson Bigos (both vocals and guitar) and consists of five Metal heads eager to bring their music to the hungry masses. ‘Hexbreaker’ is their second full-length output to date. AXE CRAZY put their energy in shredding high octane metal with nice classic vocals and a kick-ass rhythm section. ‘Out of the Darkness’ is a good example to show the bands skills technically and songwriting-wise, great melodies and a drumming that makes you raise your fist in pure metal delight. I will listen to this repeatedly because the song material demands it. I never heard the former singer perform but Tomasz is a great singer and a win for the band.
