Dark End Festival: Mono Inc., Lord of the Lost, Unzucht, Dark Idols
MONO INC invited several befriended bands to share the stages with them during a festival series. The festival in Herford was the first one of that series taking place at the end of the year in various German cities. For the Herford show, LORD OF THE LOST, UNZUCHT and DARK IDOLS were confirmed and fans from all over Germany followed the call to be part of this first Dark End Festival.

The Stranglers & Mike Marlin
Along with the release of the new album, ‘Giants’, THE STRANGLERS also went on an extensive European tour, kicking off March 1st in the UK, ending April 27th in Belgium. One of the last shows took place in Cologne, supported by MIKE MARLIN. Lots of people beyond their 30s showed up to see the show of the heroes of their youth.

Rocklegends in Concert: Uriah Heep, Nazareth
Both URIAH HEEP & NAZARETH need no too detailed introduction to rock fans. Both bands are icons in their own right and their respective genre. Seeing this combination on stage already one year ago, I was curious if there was any difference now for the show in my home town…

Nightwish, Battle Beast & Eklipse
It took a while until fans were finally receiving a new NIGHTWISH album. After more than four years, the band finally released the long awaited fifth studio album ‘Imaginaerum’. The album is also the soundtrack for a movie whose protagonist is an old balladeer with an unbelievable imagination. ‘Imaginaerum’ appeals to our fantasy and long forgotten longings from a magical world. The expectations were high and excitement huge for the band playing live on German stages again since NIGHTWISH are known for their extraordinary special effects and brilliant stage and light show. Now it was time for us to see how the new album was visually brought on stage…
