Contrary to the line of people the other day, this concert featuring MONTREAL and BENZIN promised to be a lot cosier in regards to the attendance count. Anything else was completely unpredictable. Turns out we underestimated the fans a bit.

Letzte Instanz, Silent Poem
LETZTE INSTANZ in Krefeld, announced as the only show to take place within the Ruhr area on their current tour. That meant a packed house of course and people waiting in the rain a long time to get in to experience a great show.

Faun
The concert of FAUN started with a little surprise for all people who came to “Huxleys Neue Welt”, because it had be placed to the C-Halle. No problem for us, because our photographer had a car and the C-Halle is not so far away from the “Huxleys”. When arrived at the C-Halle, people were already impatiently waiting for FAUN, one of the most singular medieval music projects located in Germany.

[:SITD:], Frozen Plasma
The concert year of 2011 started for fans of electronic music with the concerts of two different and interesting formations from Germany, namely FROZEN PLASMA and [:SITD:]. So by the beginning of the event, there were already enough people on the dance floor ready to have fun and after a few minutes of waiting the first band climbed the stage.

Very soon after the last Pluswelt Festival at the end of last year’s October, the tenth incarnation followed, this time emphasizing the harsher side of electronic music, offering performances of bands like CENTHRON or VOMITO NEGRO. Also the festival relocated to a new location in Cologne where a larger queue of people was already waiting to get in.
