7th December 2009
Combichrist, SAM
Currently the band around Andy LaPlegua can also be seen in bigger arenas supporting RAMMSTEIN. But of course a club show offers much more direct way to transport the energy lying in the music - and that a club really is the best environment for COMBICHRIST was proven at Bochum’s Matrix.

Tattoofest Twente: Trail Of Tears, Izegrim, The Monolith Deathcult, Endymaeria, Stream Of Passion
A new metal festival is born. It’s organised by Metalfront Twente. It’s an organisation which promotes metal and hardrock music in the area. The intention is to make this festival a yearly returning event. Depending on how successful this first edition is going to be, the plan is to expand this festival to merely a metal- and tattoo convention with a larger variation in activities.

4th December 2009
Placebo, Silversun Pickups, Expatriate
I was more than excited to have the opportunity to see PLACEBO again. Last tour they played for about 7,000 people in Düsseldorf. For this tour, everything was much bigger and they played in front of more than 13,000 fans at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. I left my home quite early on that Friday afternoon because I knew about lots of roadwork in the way and several traffic jams around Cologne. But still it took me 2.5 hours and finally I reached the arena just in time for the first support act of the evening, EXPATRIATE.

Wayne Hussey, Miles Hunt & Erica Nockalls
WAYNE HUSSEY drew the curtain over THE MISSION in 2008 but that doesn’t mean that he stopped touring altogether. In 2009, HUSSEY returned for a series of acoustic gigs in small and intimate clubs, and he even brought a music legend with him as a special guest - MILES HUNT of THE WONDER STUFF.

24th November
The Crüxshadows, Ayria
On Wednesday the 24th, I went to Osnabrück to enjoy one of my favourite bands, THE CRÜXSHADOWS, at their current tour. The concert took place in the venue "Lagerhalle", a pretty location in the heart of Osnabrück and when I arrived at the location, already some fans were present and looking at the merchandise table. Some minutes past 8 the evening was started by AYRIA.
