In our search for interesting people for our project this time we have reached France and Paris. Loki Lonestar is singer, performer, wizard and owner of many beautiful tattoos, so enjoy his story. Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? Did it take much time until you decided to get it done?
Loki: My very first tattoo… Oh, it’s a funny thing to remember… Because it was a long year ago… I was not 18 by the way & my parents (and friends of the family) were with me. And not only they paid for it for me (my parents) but also I convinced them all to get one too. At least they only get one tattoo but that was great experience…

Our Guest today is a very special and important musician for me. So I have taken some time to go to Rome to do this interview and a few other. Many people know Richard from his band SPIRAL69, but last year he has presented his solo work too. The first EP, ‘You will know me after these Songs of Faith, Death and Love’, was released on 20th December last year and the first album ‘The King Of Nothing’ will be released later this year. Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? Did it take much time until you decided to get it done?
Richard: I was 17, it was a tattoo of a famous Japanese Manga on the left arm... it was already a few years that I wanted to do it, I was taken by my father to his friend, a tattoo artist!

Today we have a guest from beautiful Italy. Matteo is playing rhythm guitar in FIVE WAYS TO NOWHERE, an alternative hard rock band from Torino. He is owner of fifteen very different tattoos and the story of each one he has told especially for us. Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? Did it take much time until you decided to get it done?
Matteo: I did my first tattoo when I was 25. I did two stars, one on both elbows: I love stars and I was thinking about it for years. I preferred to wait “a bit” because I wasn’t so sure to get tattooed at 18 or 20. I always loved tattoos, but you know, when you’re a kid it’s easier to make bad choices :-)

When we are saying that we are looking for new artists for our project around the world it’s not only beautiful worlds. Today I am very happy to present our first guest from the USA. Johnny is author of horror novels and filmmaker. His first book, ‘Neverlasting’, was published in July 2016 and has collected many excited reviews. First time since we are running our project, we have a person being tattooed from head to toe. So let’s look into his story. Reflections of Darkness [RoD]: When did you get your first tattoo and what was it? Did it take much time until you decided to get it done?
Johnny Daggers: I am actually much older than I am perceived to me. It makes me feel so old to admit, but over twenty years ago. I grew up as a 'punk-rocker' from a very early age. I recall wanting my first tattoo when I was six or seven. I remember that my father had bought the Stray Cats 'Built For Speed' on vinyl (of course), and I would stare at these cool 'rockabilly' guys, with their cool tattoos, old cars, and pin-up girl artwork. I said to my dad, “I am going to get a Stray Cats tattoo someday”. I am sure that he thought I was joking, but I wasn't. I had a serious love for tattoos at a young age. Back when it wasn't the mainstream and when you were more or less viewed as trash or a pariah if you had one.

Today, I as owner of this magazine have kind of a personal issue and want to ask you all for a big favour. Here’s the story behind… I met Ola, a very kind lady from Poland, several years ago during concerts or festivals. Many people in the scene know her from various events. She was always a kind and happy person. I remember pretty well our stay in a little hotel during NCN festival, where her “knights” were protecting her always. Later, we were joking about those “knights” constantly and I always had a smile on my face because of such nice memories with her. Then, a few years ago, Ola fell ill and someday it was sure that she was suffering from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), an incurable neurological disease leading to impairment of function of all the muscles, which will rob her of the life she knew. - Special: Artists and their Tattoos ‐ Damiano Bianchi (Guitar) from Poison Garden
