Aida Night of the Proms with Nile Rodgers & Chic, Stanfour, Seal, Alison Moyet, Div4s and John Miles
Classic meets Pop! That’s the motto of the Night of the Proms (NOTP) since 1994, when the first event of that kind was taking place, also in Dortmund. The 75 head grasping classic orchestra Il Novecento plays the classics and accompanies, together with the Electric Band, the Pop stars. And those stars were extraordinary also for this year’s edition with SEAL or ALISON MOYET among others. Orchestra, band, choir, backing singers and stars together with an extraordinary light show delivered once more an extraordinary concert evening where popular music from 300 years of musical history were presented. http://www.notp.com/deutschland

Time flew very quickly and finally July 14th came. For many Ukrainian fans of DREAM THEATER, this day was outlined in their calendars in bold red. That morning I was very nervous… Fist time for quite a long time I was really nervous before the interview and did not know what to expect. Having asked my manager to leave earlier, I was in time near the Palace of Sport, where, despite the early time, I could see a lot of fans. Only four media representatives were given the opportunity to interview the band and luckily I was one of them.

In Extremo - Sissikingkong Dortmund - 24th January 2011
It's always nice to be able to have a sneak preview of new work from an excellent band. So it was a pleasure to be able to attend one of four exclusive listening sessions held by top Medieval rock band IN EXTREMO to introduce their new work 'Sterneneisen' to the music press. The venue was the cellar bar in a small and intimate restaurant in Dortmund which rejoices in the name of Sissikingkong. It was the perfect venue for something like this, being vaguely reminiscent of Liverpool's famous Cavern, birthplace of the Beatles and very rock 'n roll. With a free bar and buffet the band had pulled out all the stops to make us all feel welcome and by the time lead singer Micha Rhein introduced the presentation we were all full of anticipation.

Fashion Rock Night with Willie Tanner and Oomph!
At the Fashion Rock Night, Rock Music and fashion show are intended to build a prolific symbiosis. The models were all members of the Rockstar Model agency, the brands which were presented were “Iron Fist” and “Elfcraft”. For the musical part of the evening were assigned WILLIE TANNER and OOMPH!. WILLIE TANNER, which played first, is a band project from Nurnberg, Bavaria, and consists in Kate T. (vocals), Markus, Niko, Sergio and Andi (instrumentals). Their first album, ‘How To Be A Complete Bastard’, was out at 2009. They describe their own music as “C64 Porno Metal”.
