On ‘Masks’, EYES SET TO KILL offer an interesting variant of Metalcore: harsh, grooving riffs and screamed vocals are joined by melodic and energetic female vocals. Especially the mixture between breakdowns and pretty catchy choruses is characteristic for the band, although the song structures at times appear too predictive and similar.
Conclusion: Solid album, recommended for fans of modern Metalcore and female fronted bands.
