Title: Human Reflections
Artist: Denight
Genre: Gothic / Rock / Alternative
Release Date: 7th May 2010
Label: Echozone

Album Review

Pure old Goth Rock á la Love like Blood, Dreadful Shadows and House of Usher - that’s what you get when DENIGHT opens “the grottos of hell”, the dark side of human behaviour… Epical arrangements, dense and powerful guitar-sounds and a dark and heavy voice are the decisive factors of this release that really are appealing to me. Most of all I prefer the slower and therefore darker songs on this album, although the powerful and up-tempo tracks are pretty tempting. It seems that the genre of Goth Rock can count on another awesome formation that is capable of playing and composing their songs on a high level. All in all, ‘Human Reflections’ is a solid Goth Rock release; one will never regret to listen to - not at all. It’s like the perfect ending of a hard day’s night with a glass of blood-red wine in you hands - just sip and sigh!
