After their successful tour as KYUSS LIVES, John Garcia, Brand Bjork and Nick Oliveri (ex KYUSS) were forced to change their name because of problems with law that the fourth KYUSS member Josh Homme (QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE) created to them. Under the name VISTA CHINO, the 3 ex KYUSS plus Bruno Fevery started to work on the album 'Peace'. During the recordings, Oliveri left the band so they continued as trio. About the music of the album, from those members you know what to expect, Stoner Rock at its best. Songs like ‘Dargona Dragona’, ‘Sweet Remain’, ‘As You Wish’ or ‘Dark and Lovely’ make you feel like you are in the desert with a bottle of wine (‘Mas Vino’). The last track of the album (‘Acidize… The Gambling Moose’) is an unstoppable psychedelic jamming of the band gives a great ending to a very good album! The sound of the album is as it should be, maybe a bit less heavier than you might expected but it fits perfectly to the songs of the album. If you are a KYUSS fan sit back and enjoy 'Peace' but don't expect to find the new 'Welcome to Sky Valley' or 'Blues for the Red Sun'.
