5th March 2014
James Blunt & Anna F.
JAMES BLUNT is holding the world record for the highest concert in the world: on board of a private jet he was playing a show once in 41,000 feet height. Now, the Brit takes us much higher… ‘Moon Landing’ is the name of his fourth album, being seamlessly connected to his previous ones. His name is connected forever with an absolute mega hit - ‘You’re Beautiful’ reached the top charts position in ten countries, among those also Great Britain and USA. The song sold multi-million times and was the starting ramp for the career rocket. With his new album Blunt also proves that he is not just a one-hit wonder but one of the most fascinating song-writers of our times. Now, the artist is on big tour leading him on 5th March to Oberhausen, where he played in front of about 9,000 fans.

Gabi Delgado
On the day of the album release ‘1’, the first solo album of GABI DELGADO (one half of the duo DAF) after 30 years, the first concert took place in the Kulturfabrik Krefeld. As we all had the chance to hear some snippets of the album on YouTube, surely everybody was excited to hear the songs in full length and how they work live.

Bullet For My Valentine, Callejon & Coldrain
This concert was already planned for November 2013. WHILE SHE SLEEPS and ASKING ALEXANDRIA should be the guests for BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE. But these bands had some differences so the show was now supported by COLDRAIN and CALLEJON, who were great openers btw. Most of the girls and boys in the audience were just about 20-25 years old, but also some older fans joined this evening of rock.

“Darker - harder – louder” was the slogan of the festival that started successfully in 2010 in Berlin. This year it took place for the first time in Oberhausen with a great line- up so that I would like to add as slogan “No fillers - just killers”.

Solar Fake with support of Janosch Moldau and BeRain
Lately I’ve been incredibly lucky with good music and great concerts and that Saturday evening was not an exception. For the first time in St. Petersburg there came Sven Friedrich with his project SOLAR FAKE and with support of German electro-pop act JANOSCH MOLDAU and Russian project BERAIN. So after a short run to the club we took our time to take a breath and started to wait and wait again while a slightly dark and very comfortable venue was leisurely filling with people so everything looked like slow motion. But finally the first band of the evening came out and that slow motion moved closer to the stage.
