ASP
After the spectacular unplugged tour with Chamber, ASP seemed to return to normal live shows. Just in the moment they released their new album, a new tour was pronounced. With the wonderful name “Dunkelromantische Herbstabende - Von Zaubererbrüdern, schwarzen Schmetterlingen und anderen Nachtgestalten" (Dark romantic autumn nights - of enchanters, black butterflies and other night figures) it was going to be a highlight this autumn. All shows of this special tour were sold out. So I knew I had to hurry to the location. I was a little bit late and as I turned around the street corner I saw a long line of waiting people. The concert room was filled up with chairs, but still big enough for a stage and huge background banners. There were some guests dressed up very elegant. This fits the theme of the evening very well. I wished there would have been more of them.

Section 25 & Peter Hook, Kevin Hewick
SECTION 25 and PETER HOOK first gigged together in 1979, during the heyday of Factory Records, when SECTION 25 often supported JOY DIVISION in London and the North-West. After a gap of two decades, SECTION 25 again performed as guests of NEW ORDER in Blackpool in October 2006, while Peter performed the classic Temptation with SXXV at A Factory Night (Once Again), the sold-out live event staged at Plan K in Brussels on 15th December 2007. On 9th November 2008, they performed the only gig that took place in Germany at the Kulturfabrik in Krefeld.

Kajagoogoo, Point of View
When the news came up that KAJAGOOGOO would re-unite for a tour in original line-up in November 2008, it was a total surprise for me and one thing was sure: I needed to see that! Grown up with their music and hits like ‘Too shy’ in the eighties, I never ever had the chance before to see them live on stage. Very exciting to have the chance now! The people gathering in the Zeche Bochum were obviously also grown up in the eighties, the average age was at least mid-thirty. One after another, the band member had left the band and 1985 it was totally over. Now, after 25 years absence from German stages, all five together were back to rock the Zeche and even present some new songs. Opening act was the German synth pop formation POINT OF VIEW.

Raismes Fest 2008 - Day 2: Swamp, Interria, Nedra, Die Apokalyprischen Reiter, Würm, Soul Doctor, Amartia, Machiavel, Wizard Kind, Korpiklaani, Winterland, Uli Jon Roth, Gamma Ray
After a short but good night’s sleep, we were back for more. The weather had taken a turn for the better. It seemed we’re going to keep it dry today. And lucky us, we even got a bit of autumn sunshine. Hoping the sun would convince some more people to come and enjoy the performances and spend their money, we made our way to the Discovery Scene, anxious to get this second and final part of the RaismesFest started. My legs were killing me, but that would soon be forgotten.
