KORPIKLAANI, Kivimetsän Druidi
I was looking forward to this concert for a long time. Everybody I asked how KORPIKLAANI would perform told me it would be great. So, I was really anxious to see what was gonna happen. And although it took us a long time to find the K17, my mood was really great and I was ready to enjoy the concert.

Focus
When you speak to people about the band Focus, the 3 words you hear are Thijs van Leer, Jan Akkerman and/or ‘Hocus Pocus’. Well the second one is not part of Focus anymore, but Thijs van Leer is still at full speed with Focus and still know how to ‘Hocus Pocus’ his audience.

A special evening with Delain
For the Dutch liveshow enthousiast who is into female fronted metal, Delain needs no introduction because even though the band has only been around for one year it was hard to get around them in that time. Hardly ever have I seen a band sky rocket into fame faster than this band, who have played many dates on their club tour, all the major festivals around Holland and played abroad already in support of Within Temptation. Today is a special evening with Delain in a church.

Apocalyptica, Sturm und Drang, Stam1na
It was the first time I visited an APOCALYPTICA concert. I had planned it before, but somehow these plans never came to fruition. Perhaps because it’s not my all-time favourite band and the concerts aren’t cheap. Perhaps they’re not my favourite band because I only own CULT, to which I cannot listen too often. Perhaps because I was afraid of encountering a hall full of metal heads (even though I have no problems with being in the mosh / survival pit of a RAMMSTEIN concert). Each one of these ideas proved ridiculously wrong. An evening with APOCALYPTICA is worth every single euro, even if it’s more than you can actually afford.

Rush
Canadian prog band Rush is yet again back in the Netherlands to give their fans a long concert. Special for this night is the fact that the band will be recording their new DVD in Rotterdam. Two nights in a row unfortunatelly is a bit too much for the Dutch audience so the venue is only half full this night but those who were there have seen a great show.
