After DIORAMA, SOLAR FAKE and EISBRECHER already have been announced for the Amphi Festival 2009, we come up with another top class act. No one less than LAIBACH will honour the Amphi Festival 2009 with their attendance. The Slovenian artist collective around singer Milan Fras belongs to the last big unique specimen in the scene. Founded in 1980, LAIBACH always retained a refreshing unpredictability; they bring to life in electronic anthems and avant-garde club stompers with creativity and artistic pathos. Especially live LSIBACH provide a real feast for ears and eyes on the highest level.

Still with his most recent album ‘SMPLEX’ (AUDIOLITH)’, but in March 2009 comes the successor and a corresponding big tour. First dates are already set as well as the Intro magazine & Byte.fm as presenters. But as this still lies a few months in the future, the focus is placed on September 2008.

15.000 spectators celebrated the 2.Area 4 festival in Lüdinghausen a complete weekend at 28° and sparkling sunlight. The otherwise so calm and pastoral area of Borkenberge Airfield turned into a big party camp for three days. Firmly established rock bands like DIE ÄRZTE, THE HIVES, APOCALYPTICA, BAD RELIGION and MILLENCOLIN performed on two stages; and on the tent stage not only various newcomers, but also successful acts like THE FUTUREHEADS and BIFFY CLYRO were celebrated.

We’d like to announce that the additional show on 1st October in Duisburg’s Pulp is sold-out as well. There’s no need to be sad if you haven’t had the chance to get hold of a ticket, because as conclusion to an extraordinary year UNHEILIG have something very special up their sleeves: Unheilig & Friends – “Vorhang auf!” – Annual Closure Concert 2008!An exciting and moving year with UNHEILIG slowly comes to an end and the preparations for the big finale have already started. On 20th December 2008, Der Graf, Henning and Licky welcome you in Cologne’s Theatre at the Tanzbrunnen for the annual closure concert: “Unheilig & Friends… - Vorhang auf!”. As a highlight you can vote your favourite songs into the setlist on the band’s website http://www.unheilig.com/ so you can help shape this memorable event. All in all you can expect at least 2 hours of UNHEILIG, a meet & greet with the Count; as well as some exciting surprises. The evening is being completed by a big after show party with all band members.
