Holly B. & Benni Cellini of the musical super group LETZTE INSTANZ will go on a book-signing tour, for the occasion of the release of the fan-anthology ‘Weisse Geschichten’ (White Stories) on 4th April, published by Periplaneta.Besides two contributions of the singer, the 200-page book is exclusively comprised of stories from listeners and fans of the LETZTE INSTANZ, inspired by the lyrics of the band. Holly will read from that book and the cellist of the LETZTE INSTANZ will accompany this with music. Furthermore, a part of the proceeds will be donated to the association “Musicians without Borders” (http://www.musikerohnegrenzen.de/). This is very laudable and therefore noteworthy.

Nemo
Instead of the constant flood of bands with indie sounds from England, NEMO prove they’re not afraid of experiments and bringing the listener a good mix of Punk, Rock and Neo-Wave; and NEMO is hot stuff, not new or never seen before, but therefore ‘Hot’ stuff of which promo departments of big labels always claim, their newest signing would be just that. NEMO is it!

Warner Music Group is loosing yet another big fish so Hits Daily Double reports. Depeche Mode, currently managed by Jonathan Kessler, have decided to quit the label. The band apparently decided to sever ties with Warner domestically after concluding that they'd been under-served by the Tom Whalley regime. The news does not come as a surprise to many as it had been rumoured for a few months already. The fact that Kessler recently joined up with Coldplay manager Dave Holmes to form Good Boy Productions, as we reported on March 31st, is a sign that the band could be going completely independent overseeing their releases stateside themselves or they could be signing to for example Live Nation which would not be all that strange either. The impact this might have on the band being signed to Mute/EMI in Europe is not all that clear as the band is being named more and more as one of the next defectors. Depeche Mode follows in the steps of the Eagles, Madonna and several other bands who left Warner. Source: Side Line Magazine
