After a lot of blood, sweat and tears, Lowe's new album "Kino International" is finally out! Lowe’s music is in the veins of The Cure, Marilyn Manson, New Order and Depeche Mode. The band likes to call it “pop noir”, which is somewhere in-between pop, electro and indie.

The electronic music collaboration between the French techno producer Terence Fixmer, and British EBM vocalist Douglas McCarthy (of Nitzer Ebb) has given birth to a new album, "Into The Night". Good timing since Nitzer Ebb itself is also working on a new record for the Mute label. The follow-up to the bands 2004 debut "Between The Devil" has a more melodic sound leaving the classic Nitzer Ebb like tunes in the background. Coïncidence or not? ZITA POP FESTIVAL 2008
At the end of summer, on 29th August in Berlin, a little festival with a fine line-up will take place: AND ONE, one of the most known German Electro Pop bands, who just was touring with their "The Bodypop Cover Lover Supershow" will headline, completed by CAMOUFLAGE - another famous German Synth-pop act, well-known through their hits ‘A Great Commandment’ or ‘Love Is A Shield’, MESH - a great band from Bristol, known for their ingeniously Synth pop with beautiful melodies, catchy refrains and significant lyrics, and an opener who's still unknown will be performing at the Zitadelle Spandau. Really a great line up and surely a big party for every synth pop fan!

After LACRIMOSA already finished a successful tour through China and Taiwan in autumn 2006, the next tour was planned for the summer of 2008, but now all the dates have been cancelled by the Chinese authorities. The reason: The Irish singer BJÖRK protested for a free Tibet during a concert in Hong Kong, what brought the Chinese government to forbid all events of European artists during the time of the Olympic Games. LACRIMOSA organized a tour through Russia on short notice and will now play, after two concerts in the Ukraine, shows in Krasnodar, St. Petersburg and two concerts in Moscow, before they will perform as headliner at the Blackfield Festival in Germany on 6th July 2008.
