“Berlin, Berlin we’re driving to Berlin”! A shout like a thunder sounds through the Soccer arenas of the nation every year, when the big ones and the small ones meet up to their happy cup shooting and where the midget upstages the giant again. Since last summer also rock fans and fans of darker sounds can look forward to a journey into the capital. After its last year’s debut, the Zita Rock Festival has successfully arrived in Berlin and already returns on 31st May 2008 with an attractive program, when a fascinating world of pushing guitars, fragile melancholy and driving percussions unfolds behind the historic walls of the Citadel Spandau with the participants of the Bundesvision Song Contest SUBWAY TO SALLY and DOWN BELOW leading the way.

In April 2008 ‘Lovesick Society’ - the brand-new album by Post New Romantic Band AGONISED BY LOVE will be released. The trio describes the new material as: “Much more elaborate electronic pop, …way more romantic and nostalgic than the predecessor ‘All of White Horizons’ or to cut it short the pure soul exhibitionism”. The new single ‘Southern Sun’ due for release on 29th February already provides a little foretaste.
