First of all: The record is finished and we’re really happy. A very special moment, if the work of the past months is handed out to you on a silver disc from the producer. During the last weeks, the album was mixed in Hamburg and now we pore over the running order of the songs. A joint-venture of a very special kind shall bring a fresh wind into the metal scene: The labels SPV and Wacken Records announce the immediate collaboration marketing, promotion and worldwide distribution. Wacken Records (Formerly known under the name Armageddon Music) will be integrated into the SPV system, but will remain an independent corporation, that will benefit from the international contacts and the long-standing experiences of its partner. Ticket presale for GMM2008 startedAs of Friday 15 February, presale tickets for the next edition of the Graspop Metal Meeting can be ordered by phone, SMS and online. Presales in the usual outlets as from Saturday 1 March. NEW As from this year you can use your festival ticket as valid train and bus warrant as from Thursday 26 June (from 10am)!
The festival tickets are valid as an SNCB railway pass second class for a round trip (=one outward journey and one return journey) between any Belgian station and MOL as well as a round trip in the buses run by De Lijn between MOL station and Dessel festival park between Thursday 26 June 2008 (from 10am) and Monday 30 June 2008 in the buses run by public transport company DE LIJN.
