Dear fans,

as you might have noticed, After Forever experienced a lot in 2007. A new deal with Nuclear Blast and The Entertainment Group, the release of a new album, gigs in Europe and the U.S.A./Canada, all thanks to your support. Unfortunately, 2007 also had a negative side. Sander experienced the symptoms of a burn-out and had to stop playing with After Forever for a few months.

After Forever did a good job doing the scheduled gigs with mainly George (ex- Orphanage) as grunter, making possible the album could still be promoted. After that, a European and an American/Canadian tour followed, with Sander this time, and his condition seemed to be ok. Unfortunately, just recently, Sander fell victim to a seizure attack in an airplane, and after research that attack seemed to be stress related. The doctors think this is a very serious matter, and they strongly advised him to not be involved with any After Forever activity for at least a year, to prevent a worse health situation.

Now the new album is on it's way and we're entering the 10th year of Chamber, we've decided to set all this years activities under the sign of "Transitions" and our anniversary, beginning with some spring awakening concerts in march. Just like the season, these concerts will be light and lively, brought to you in a slightly finer line up than those opulent festival shows in summer. Contrabass, viola, violin, guitars and vocals shall bring the same emotion and power as known for Chamber, but more basic, a little less complex. Just like a flower about to bloom, these concerts may remind you on Chamber's early days...

Out now via Projekt Records are the re-issues of the first two Love Spiral Downwards, the 1992 debut "Idylls" and the 1993 release "Ardor". Both releases contain bonus-tracks. In the case of "Idylls" you get the following 3 tracks: 01 Mediterranea (originally from "From Across this Grey Land Vol.3"), 02 Scatter January (Live L.A.1996), 03 Love's Labour's Lost (Heavenly Voices Mix) (from "Heavenly Voices Vol.1"). The extra tracks on "Ador" consist of these 3 pearls: 01 Oisin and Niam, 02 I could find it (instrumental mix) (both tracks recorded and mixed during the original 1993 sessions and never available before), 03 Write in Water (Live L.A.1995).
