Los Angeles art-punk pioneers Savage Republic have come roaring back from obscurity with "1938", their first fulltime album in 19 years. The new album is available on Neurot Recordings just in time for their European tour in January 2008.In their current incarnation Savage Republic core members Thom Fuhrmann, Ethan Port and Greg Grunke are augmented by the addition of drummer/percussionist extraordinaire Alan Waddington and UK punk-rock legend Val Haller (Wayne County & the Electric Chairs, Lords of the New Church, Flying Lizards).

The new drummer of ATROCITY and LEAVES' EYES is Nick Barker, formerly the drummer of CRADLE OF FILTH, DIMMU BORGIR, and TESTAMENT.
