Palladium, Cologne, Germany3rd April 2008
Peilomat
The band performed at the Bundesvision Song Contest on 14th February with their song ‘Jenny’ but one thing distinguishes the band from the other attending bands. PEILOMAT is the only band attending the content without a record deal or a label. Still the likeable trio Seb Wagner, Florian Peil and Heinrich Marien is no newcomer. The three guys are making music together for 4 years and constantly tour the country ever since. At more than 300 shows from the smallest club to the biggest Open Air PEILOMAT rocked like hell and won several awards.

Belarusian DIFFUZION offer a combination of straight-on EBM and upbeat dark electro with a clear melodic synth pop touch while Xev's charismatic and intriguing female vocals guarantee an impressive diversity to the album through her ability to go from harsh bitchy distorted vox to warmer dreamy singing. A solid debut album from Eastern Europe, full of cold upbeat electronics with striking female vox that will rapidly place DIFFUZION on the forefront of the female-fronted league of EBM/industrial acts alongside bands like AYRIA, PZYCHOBITCH, etc.

Their exploding “das erste mal” mini-cd wet your appetite for more? “machlaut” will not deceive you! With this full length album the German crisk. quartet will give some more tough moments to music journalists who would still want to put a specific label on their music style. crisk. is per definition a melting pot of genres and influences which therefore brought them the most diverse comparisons with artists in the likes of T. RAUMSCHMIERE, PZYCHOBITCH, CLIENT, FRONT 242, PRODIGY, DAFT PUNK, FISCHERSPOONER, MISS KITTEN, ATARI TEENAGE RIOT, etc. “machlaut” goes even further by adding industrial and pop ingredients to their cocktail of powerful EBM, punk electro, groovy house and minimal techno. Fresh and floor-breaking electro that perfectly match with frontwoman Djane Chris Koch's harsh provocative German vocals. - LEAETHER STRIP - "Civil Disobedience" 2CD/3CD carton box
