The arrival of the German act Unheilig in the States is a fact. Nilaihah Records announces us the signing of Unheilig for the US territory. The first release that will hit US soil is the band's upcoming fifth album "Puppenspiel". "Puppenspiel" is slated for a February 22, 2008 worlwide release. Unheilig started in 1999 when Grant Stevens, José Alvarez-Brill (Wolfsheim, Witt, De/Vision) and Der Graf joined up. A frst single "Sage Ja" was released on Bloodline Records in 1999 and shot straight into the German DAC charts. In February 2001, the debut album "Phosphor" was release. Since then the band has been releasing several CD's. Unheilig's US label Nilaihah Records is the home of such bands like The Azoic, Backlash, Blind Faith and Envy, Conetik, Dissonance, Distorted Reality, Endanger, Fiction 8, Frozen Plasma, GASR, Ghost & Writer, Interface, Invisible Ballet, Liquid Divine, Null Device and Zoica.Source: http://www.side-line.com/

Following the great success of the summer events in Berlin and Prague, Recoil are again celebrating the release of "subHuman" with a party, this time on December 1st at the club Strangel in Moscow (Ryazansky prosp. 2b.). Former Depeche Mode member Alan Wilder will be making a special appearance to sign your items and chat with as many people as possible. The evening will feature music courtesy of various DJs and some local live acts, video projection and competitions. While in Moscow, amongst other things, Wilder will also be visiting key radio stations ('Echo of Moscow', 'Silver Rain') and making a record store appearance at the welknown Soyus store.- Details

Finally available on DVD for the first time, EMI Records are proud to announce the eagerly awaited release of the Double Disc DVD of LIVE AFTER DEATH, the legendary recording of Maiden’s four night stand at Long Beach Arena, California, in 1984. In the shops 4th February 2008, the release will coincide with the start of the band’s “Somewhere Back in Time World Tour” on which they will recreate many of the aspects of this original and spectacular show. Disc one contains the recording of this full 90 minute concert. Originally filmed on 35mm, the footage comes alive on DVD resulting in a visually stunning film that far outstrips the usual live video of the ‘80’s. The disc carries two sound options - the original concert audio specially mixed into 5.1 Surround Sound by Kevin Shirley, Maiden’s producer since 1999, plus the original stereo sound track by Martin Birch, the band’s producer from 1981 to 1993. Originally released on video in 1985, this has been largely unavailable for the past 20 years. - Details

A LIFE [DIVIDED] convinced the specialized press. They became “Newcomer of the Year” in the Rock Hard Magazine in 2004 and with fAR, they also got hold of the title “Demo of the Month” in the Metal Hammer Magazine.Modern edgy metal meets electronic beats, let’s flicker fascinating tones through the spheres, is sometimes hard, then soft again, and is melodic and brusque within the same breath. References? No references. The musical spectrum of links goes from: DEPECHE MODE to DEVIN TOWNSEND, from SEPULTURA to MASSIVE ATTACK, from LINKIN PARK to MOTÖRHEAD to satisfy journalistic criteria like “sounds like...” or “has something from...”. A LIFE [DEVIDED] already proved countless times since 2003 that they are a force on stage. The played gigs in the whole republic have fans in Flensburg as well as in Gamisch Patenkirchen. As a support of OOMPH! Or EISBRECHER they bought the masses to a boil. The wide trace of excitement, this band trails behind itself is immense. You recognize old metal heads as well as curious teenagers in front of the stage. No wonder: This music is innovative and timeless.
