Iced Earth, Annihilator and Turisas
Playing at the 013 main hall this next Thursday is Iced Earth. The central person in Iced Earth is rhythmn guitarist and song writer Jon Schaffer. He founded the band Purgatory in 1984, only to change it into Iced Earth when the band relocated from Indiana to Florida. Besides Schaffer, also active in Demons & Wizards with Hansi Kürsch of Blind Guardian, the rest of Iced Earth consists of singer Tim 'Ripper' Owens (former Judas Priest, Beyond Fear), guitarist Troy Seele, drummer Brent Smedley and on bass DennisHayes. Iced Earth resembles a modern mix of Iron Maiden, KISS and Black Sabbath. Their new album 'Framing Armageddon' has been scheduled for release this September.

After the release of their great new album "Ghost Opera" / SPV, KAMELOT will hit the road again and will do shows in main areas of Europe. The album entered a lot of charts in different countries. For example: Norway #25, Sweden #29, Finland #35, USA #48, Netherlands 51, Germany #61, France #83, Switzerland #83, Greece #23, Japan #13, UK #24. With the success of The Ghost Opera album fans are demanding more, more, more! Melodic metal masters KAMELOT return to select Europe cities for a once in a lifetime tour and stage show. Bringing with them as special guests the Greek heavyweights "Firewind" and the Austrian/American female fronted group "Visions of Atlantis", this package will be one of the highlights of the year.

Long-running British Death Metal legends BENEDICTION have posted the following statement on their MySpace-page: "OK, they've talked and talked about it for long enough. The boys will be going into the studio on November 21 (booked and confirmed!) to actually record the fucking album ("Killing Music") at long last. It will be released at the end of March 2008 and a full tour will commence in April 2008 for God knows how long followed by as many festivals that will allow them to play!!!
