Out on July 9th via Laibach's own label NSK are 4 releases by the Laibach side-prjects 300.000 VK and Rotor. From the electronic project Rotor featuring Mina Spiller (Melodrom/Laibach) comes "Phonophobia" and "Rotorsphere" which both combine 'modern technology effects, live-experimentations, DJ-compatible rhythms and techno-industrial mayhem' as they call it. Next is 300.000 VK with two reissues, "Hard Drive : Bill Gates" and "Paracelsus", the first holding mostly hard and fast drum'n'bass techno. MonaMur has been invited to perform at the Berlin MuseumsIsland Festival in front of the Hamburger Bahnhof Museum of Contemporary Art in which the exhibition called "Pain" is being shown. Partners in crime are guitarist En esch (ex-KMFDM, Slick Idiot) who has chased Mur's 80s songs through a drum 'n bass maelstrom, and organ musician Nikko Weidemann, companion and co-composer since years. The trio will be playing open air and free on July 8th, 4PM straight. MonaMur, Berlin-based vocalist, composer and sound designer, has since the 80s worked with artists such as Einstürzende Neubauten, Stranglers, Yello and the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.Source: http://www.side-line.com/

[:SITD:] have canceled their US tour due to the death of a close relative. In a post via their MySpace page [:SITD:]'s Tom says:"We are very sorry to have to announce, that due to a tragic death case of a direct family member, :SITD: have to cancel their upcoming tour with Combichrist in August/September this year. We thank you for your understanding and once again : we are very sorry about this. Hope to seeing you soon some other time! Maybe in 2008! best wishes from all of us"
