HIM have announced the cancellation of their fall tour. The band will not be playing scheduled U.S. shows in favor of entering the recording studio (see canceled dates below).HIM hope fans will not be let down, but rather will look forward to seeing them back on the road with new songs to share. The band have been steadily writing material for their forthcoming album and are eager to start preliminary rehearsal of very early tracks. HIM have not been able to test any new material due to their busy touring and promotion schedule. This fall will be the first opportunity for the band members to talk and work out new HIM material for a 2007 release!

The Swedish clothing chain H&M is using a version with a string arrangement of Depeche Mode's "Just can't get enough" in their new fall TV ads. Unlike previous try-outs with classical arrangements, this version (by Nathan Larson) is actually pretty good. Without any doubt the viral impact of the TV ad will now do its work. It is not the first time the band is linked with the brand. In 2004 Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan appeared in an H&M ad campaign. Source: http://www.side-line.com/

Alfa Matrix announces band behind anonymous demoA few weeks ago, the Alfa Matrix headquarters issued a (desperate) pressrelease in order to identify a demo CDR the label received a few weeks earlier. 2 songs from this demo were posted on www.myspace.com/alfamatrix in order to identify the band as quick as possible. Apart from excellent feedback, also tips started pouring in. And it was a fan of the Alfa Matrix label who finally identified the band early September and who contacted us.

Finland’s gothic rock sensation ENTWINE returns with its fifth studio album “Fatal Design”, which will be released on September 15th, 2006 via Century Media Records (in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux only – licensed from Spinefarm Records). Mixed by Finnvox's Mikko Karmila who is highly appreciated for his work with Nightwish, Children Of Bodom and many others, the band once more delivered a rousing set of potential gothic rock hits - catchy, powerful and with a gloomy sense of beauty.Drummer Aksu comments on the new album: “ ’Fatal Design’ is definitely the best album we've ever done! We have been able to get closer to all our musical roots than before and with the new producer we could approach the work on this album in a totally different way compared to our previous releases. Things worked out perfectly with Janne Joutsenniemi and he could get the best out of everyone. He really made us rock and kick ass stronger than ever before! We are extremely confident about the new material and just can't wait to perform those songs live!”
