70000TONS OF METAL, the World's Biggest Floating Heavy Metal Festival will now take off on a world tour to pick up more bands for their line-up. Before leaving port they thought they would need some more Finnish Trolls, so they welcome FINNTROLL to the line-up. That makes it 9 out of 40 and counting. Following ‘Into The Arms of Chaos’ from February 2008 will be the new album from the band around singer and songwriter Ashley Dayour. The new work, entitled ‘The Eternal Arcane’ links contentual and musically to “Chaos”, but expands the musical scopes of the band with new facets. Besides epic works like the 10 minutes title song and crunchy Goth rock ala ‘The Lost Souls’ or ‘From Aeon To Aeon’ the album also comprises harder stuff in the vein of ‘Blood, Sweat & Tears’ the band has produced their first music video for.Source: Newsletter

After their last album ‘Man-Machine’, the third LOST AREA album will be released through the Echozone label in March/April. With 13 new tracks + a Gecko Sector remix of ‘Unborn’ the album offers diversified Electro and Future Pop proving a definite musical development of the band. Not least the voice of singer and guitarist Markus Bär, coupled with Andi Grundlers raw timbre gives the songs an audible uniqueness.
