Finland’s new progressive death metal act BARREN EARTH, has a video trailer online about their debut EP 'OUr Twilight.' They are giving a glimpse into the writing- and recording process of the tracks. Also the title track is on the myspace page. The new band contains ex-Amorphis members, current members from Swallow The Sun and the guitarist from Kreator. Their first live appearance is on 19th November in Helsinki. There is a brand new festival in the east of the Netherlands: TATTOOFEST TWENTE. The first edition already comes with some very interesting bands in the line-up. The organisation is not holding back to support underground bands in the metal scene. Together with many Dutch respected bands like Izegrim and Stream Of Passion, you have some nice eye-catchers. A very suitable festival for the real metal fan who’s open minded and want to hear some interesting bands. Headliner Trail Of Tears is the perfect mixture between technical metal and a female vocalist. All ingredients for a dynamic show!
