Dark Dance Treffen 29: Diary of Dreams, De/Vision, Din[A]Tod, Noisuf-X, Twinkle, Phosgore
The whole story started back in December 2000 as a mere dancing event. The following years would show a significant growth in every aspect making the Dark Dance Treffen Europe’s biggest indoor event for the dark scene, happening every third month and presenting a musically diverse program with 6 live acts and 8-10 DJs on 4-5 Floors (Dark Dance & Electro, Industrial & Noise, Depeche Mode & Electro-Pop, Gothic & Neo-Folk und Medieval & Crossover) that should provide something for everyone, so no one who decides travelling there to spent a nice evening gets a raw deal. The 29th issue of this event taking place end of March of the still young year 2009 already promises to become a very special event.

Notchnoi Prospekt was formed in Moscow, 1985, by Alexei Borisov (guitar, vocals, lyrics) and Ivan Sokolovsky (keyboards, electronics). At the very beginning of thier activity the duo played electro-pop with the elements of rockabilly, twist, ska, post-punk and industrial. In 1987 the drummer Sergei Pavlov and violin player Dmitry Kutergin joined the band. Since that time Notchnoi Prospekt started to develop industrial electronics mixed with psychodelia, noize, free improvized music and absurdizm. In the 80s Notchnoi Prospekt became popular in Russia, playing concerts all over the country and taking part at different rock and art festivals.- Details

Dark electro project Acylum joins Alfa Matrix! Pedro Engel aka Acylum has signed a contract with the Belgian label Alfa Matrix. The Chemnitz-based dark electro project started back in 2004. His debut album "Your Pain" was released in 2005 and the radical use of provocative samples immediately brought him some controversial reactions amongst the press in Germany in particular where some historical moments remain touchy and taboo. The follow-up album "Mental Disorder" was released in 2007 and got him comparisons to the early period of bands such as :Wumpscut: or Suicide Commando.
