Fad Gadget by frank ToveyMute are pleased to announce the release of the long-awaited Fad Gadget by Frank Tovey project on 11th September 2006.
The 2 DVD and 2 CD package features a specially made documentary covering Tovey's life and career up to his untimely death in 2002. It will also include rare and unreleased tracks and live footage of legendary performances, as well as classic songs recorded under both his own name and his alter ego Fad Gadget.Put together by Frank's family in conjunction with Mute, utilising the Mute and family archives, this collection features the very first Fad Gadget demos and footage of the rebirthed Fad Gadget supporting Depeche Mode in 2001.

Nitzer Ebb released a 'best of' compilation 'Body of Work 1984-1997' on Mute (released on 5th June 2006) and 'Body Rework: Remixes', the accompanying collection of remixes from contemporary artists and DJs inspired by the band's proto-techno industrial legacy on novamute on 31st July 2006. 'Body Rework' sees such Ebb classics as 'Control (I'm Here)', 'Join In The Chant', 'Murderous' and 'Let Your Body Learn' remixed by the likes of Black Strobe, Xpress 2, Derrick May, The Hacker, Phil Kieran, Thomas Heckmann, Robag Wruhme, Terence Fixmer and Motor into updated electronic versions of their industrial blueprint.

For the third time already the Autohof Strohofer in Geiselwind, Germany, will be organizing this Metal festival, which will this year take place under a new logo - "Battle of Metal". The event location is a huge ground near the motorway A3. And the billing is extraordinary.
