Win two tickets to the show of Qntal in Utrecht!!On the 15th of October the German folk band Qntal is back in Holland again. They will perform on this day in Tivoli Oudegracht, Utrecht, together with Unto Ashes and Omnia. There will be an indoor medieval market, so there is plenty to do during this event.
Currently on their Silver Swan Tour, named after their last album Qntal – V Silver Swan. The CD hits the streets on 25 of august. This Trio combines the old myths that live in our world with sophisticated poppy sounds and a thick layer of folk music. Their quite danceable tunes make you want to sway along on and close your eyes. Let the music take you to a higher level and go with the flow…

Last weekend, supreme Doomheads CANDLEMASS returned to the Stockholm Polar studios to add one song to the forthcoming album. This is what the Swedish slow motion combo had to say: "The brutally heavy “Of stars and smoke” was put down with ease and in a very relaxed working environment. Since the new album won`t be out until next year, there is no need to rush things and the band can take their time to make it a perfect doom metal album." Guitar maestro Mappe Björkman also had to add that “Of stars and smoke” definitely had a vibe of “Epicus...” around it. It sent fucking chills down my spine”. Claus Larsen has chosen Halloween as the perfect releasedate for the mini-album "Faetish" powered by the track "Be My Fetish" which is definitely bound to become an instant hit rapidly dethroning LEAETHER STRIP's recent massive "Suicide Bombers" and "Walking on Volcanos" hits.
