Due to illness, the Gathering has unfortunately been forced to cancel all shows in Europe and the Netherlands scheduled between 19 April and 28 May. Anneke van Giersbergen is suffering from an obstinate bronchial and sinus infection, which has taken a turn for the worse over the past few days.
"The band very much regrets having to take this step, but Anneke’s health will have to come first. We are consulting with promoters to try to reschedule the concerts to later this year so that tickets would remain valid", declares the band’s management. The latest recording Home was released this past weekend. So this cancellation is very unfortunate for the band as well as for their fans. The Gathering will resume touring starting in June.

REMIX COLLABORATION [:SITD:] vs. OOMPH! [:SITD:] and OOMPH! have just finished successfully a remix collaboration: The result of this very promising co-operation can be heard on the second OOMPH! single “Das Letzte Streichholz” (from the current album “Glaube, Lied, Tod”). The exclusive [:SITD:] remix of the title track will be just available on the premium edition of the MCD, which will be released through GUN Records / SONY BMG on May 05, 2006.

Instore gig @ Sounds RotterdamRecord store Sounds Rotterdam is opening a brand new and excessive metal/alternative department on the 13th of May. To celebrate this occasion Trisomy will be playing a rare in-store live set. Trisomy's most recent EP "V" shall be available in this massive catalogue. First of all we thank you your support on the Orkus Festival Tour. There we already played 2 songs from the new album, which is called 'Still'. The release date is June, 30th 2006. On this date there will be a release party at Postbahnhof, Berlin with concert. We just prepare a special program for fanclub and community members.
Because there will be a quarter final match in Berlin the same day, you should hurry up booking your hotel (maybe you should look for private rooms instead of these big hotel companies which might be already booked out... but Berlin could also handle the Love Parade with more than 1,5 million participants, so a football match with 70.000 visitors in the stadium should not become an insuperable problem).
On April, 22nd Sven will be DJing at Darkflower in Leipzig (http://www.darkflower.de/).
