The new year has only just begun and W-Festival is adding the following and final nine glamorous names to its spectacular line-up: SHEILA E, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, KID CREOLE AND THE COCONUTS, STEREO MC’S, LIGHTNING SEEDS, SCRITTI POLITTI, CHRISTOPHER CROSS, PAUL CARRACK and SOULSISTER. There is also a change in the programme: BIG COUNTRY moves from Thursday 25 August to Wednesday 24 August for practical reasons.

“Step by step on a snow-covered road...”

Many numerous musical steps already lie behind Marcus Testory and Matthias Ambré, the protagonists of DIE KAMMER. They will take their next one this year, on December 22, 2021, the 10th founding day of the duo. The chamber releases the new single ‘Ago’, including video, on all available platforms. Lovingly composed, arranged and produced for the current 4-piece line-up, the song takes the first big step with us towards the planned album ‘Season 5’. Still, besides Testory’s characterful voice, the acoustic instruments, such as guitars and cello, characterize the sound world of the Chamber. But now, still in a subtle, cautious way, a new one is added: electronics.

• Plage Noire

While the indoor gothic festival PLAGE NOIRE 2021 was still in full swing, advance sales began for the next edition, which will take place on May 6 and 7, 2022 at the Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park. In addition, the first eleven names for the line-up 2022 were announced at the same time, including the titans of the Gothic movement FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM and the Medieval Rock institution SUBWAY TO SALLY. Now, the organizer FKP Scorpio announces sixteen more bands and completes the music program. This means that the days of the individual acts are now set and a limited contingent of tickets without an overnight stay is on sale in advance.

• Hellbound

Umeå Hard Rock / Metal quintet HELLBOUND pays tribute to their fellow Countryfolk NORDMAN with a cover of ‘Och Regnet Föll’ together with the NORDMAN vocalist Håkan Hemlin. In addition to the cover, the band had also recorded their own track called ‘King of Misery’, where Håkan also sings. The Swedish group has now released the double-single ‘Och Regnet Föll’, featuring both the songs to celebrate the 10th anniversary.
