‘The Fireside Sessions’ was written and recorded during the lockdown and will be released on August 21. The EP consists of five songs written with the band’s fans during a series of streams on Instagram Live entitled “Saturday Songwrite”. As a bow to this collaboration, ‘The Fireside Sessions’ will be released under the banner of SNOW PATROL AND THE SATURDAY SONGWRITERS. The EP was produced by Iain Archer. It will be released digitally and on CD. Prior to the EP release there was the single release of ‘Reaching Out To You’ on July 30th.

• Endless Twilight of Codependent Love

Iceland post rock outfit SÓLSTAFIR are now announcing the details for their new album ‘Endless Twilight of Codependent Love’. The record will be released on November 6, via Season of Mist. The cover artwork (The painting is a watercolour of the Lady of the Mountain, 1864, by Johann Baptist Zwecker) and track list can be found below. ‘Endless Twilight of Codependent Love’ was recorded at the Sundlaugin Studio (Iceland), where ‘Svartir Sandar’, ‘Ótta’ and ‘Berdreyminn’ were also recorded by producer Birgir Jón Birgisson (Sigur Rós, Alcest, Damien Rice). After the exclusive album launch show by ENTER SHIKARI in Hamburg, which was planned for April, had to be cancelled due to the ban on events, the tour planned for December for the sixth studio album ‘Nothing is True & Everything is Possible’ will now take place in May 2021. Fortunately, a catch-up date for the concert in Hamburg was found in the course of this, which will take place in the second part of the European tour in September 2021. All tickets already purchased remain valid.
