Madsen - “Lichtjahre” Tour 2019
It nearly seems like MADSEN have also recorded some songs from their current album ‘Lichtjahre’ (Light Years) to make life easier for writers of their press releases. Actually, you could save yourself the next few lines and just turn on ‘Rückenwind’ (tailwind). “Wir haben Rückenwind, wir können überall hin!” (We have tailwind, we can go anywhere!), sings Sebastian Madsen in this “Go ahead and go out” hymn, while the band recreates the musical equivalent of this feeling with guitar, bass and drums.

AnnenMayKantereit
Oh, it might like to go on for a few more months: Every Friday ANNENMAYKANTEREIT is currently releasing a new song and a new video and it’s not just their numerous fans who are thrilled and / or confused by it. Both are possible, because the four Cologne residents are proving on a weekly basis that although they can still love songs like ‘In meinem Bett’ (In my Bed), they are ready to break new ground. This is evidenced by songs such as ‘Weiße Wand’ (White Wall) or even the ballad ‘Schon krass’ (Crisp).

Alphaville - “Forever Young” Tour 2019
‘Forever Young’, this title accompanies ALPHAVILLE singer and founder Marian Gold not only since the uber hit (and debut album title) in 1984, which, together with ‘Big in Japan’ and ‘Sounds Like a Melody’ belongs to ALPHAVILLEs success hymns which today still are played on the radio. FOREVER YOUNG was also the name of Gold’s band founded in 1982 with Bernd Lloyd and Frank Mertens, the forerunner of ALPHAVILLE. And looking back today, ALPHAVILLE is indeed “forever young” - Marian Gold’s distinctive voice sounds fresh as ever on the current album, ‘Strange Attractor’. And “Forever Young” is also the name of ALPHAVILLE’s tour in March and April 2019.
