COPPELIUS do opera - everybody knew that? Of course: the success of “Klein Zaches, genannt Zinnober” after E.T.A. Hoffmann (2015 premiere, resumed in 2018) was followed by the scene press to feature pages. Together with the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, COPPELIUS brought the world’s first steampunk opera to the stage of the music theatre in the district of Gelsenkirchen - the audience and the press were thrilled, the band and the theatre were proud - and they did not want to leave it at that cooperation...The preparations for the second trick have been going on for months and today we can announce: The masters of COPPELIUS return with a great opera production on the stage of the great house of the music theatre in the district Gelsenkirchen!
