Three months prior to the German comeback shows of ULTRAVOX, their charismatic front man presents songs like ‘Dancing With Tears In My Eyes’ or ‘Vienna’ as they were initially written: Purely acoustic, stripped back down to the intimate essentials. But not only songs from this band’s repertoire, may it be the chart breakers or rarely played gems, will be showcased to the audience. The program also will encompass songs out of Ure’s solo career such as ‘Breathe’ or ‘If I Was’ and compositions from other artists that were influential for the man who himself is seen as influential now to many artists I guess. So you will get to hear DAVID BOWIE’s ‘Stardust’ or ‘No Regrets’ by THE WALKER BROTHERS during this surely magical evening either.

Death metal butchers ABORTED announce a new line-up, featuring Sven de Caluwe (also of System Divide) on vocals, Dirk Verbeuren (Soilwork) on drums, Eran Segal (ex-They Swarm/Whorecore) and Ken Sorceron (Abigail Williams) on guitar and Cole Martinez (System Divide) on bass. This newly revamped line-up has been working on new material for the past months and recorded a brand new 5-track EP entitled "Coronary Reconstruction". The EP will be released by the end of the year, digitally by Century Media, and on a limited run of 1000 copies by the band themselves exclusively through Indiemerch.- Details

That’s ARCHIVE how they’re sounding nowadays, 15 years after the formation of the artist collective by Danny Griffiths and Darius Keeler who make up the cure duo ever since. ‘Controlling Crowds’ is a conceptual work in 4 acts about the unquenchable urge of mankind to get anything there is on this planet under its control.

Ultravox
Certainly, ULTRAVOX is one of the most significant New Wave bands due to ground-breaking album releases such as `Vienna´ (1980), `Rage in Eden´ (1981) or `Quartet´ (1982). Stunning singles like `Hymn´, `Reap the wild Wind´, `Dancing with Tears in my Eyes´ and `Vienna´ hit the charts in many countries and made the British band attain cult status all over Europe. After singer John Foxx had decided to quit the band in 1979, Midge Ure took over as front man and guitarist. When he left ULTRAVOX in 1987 to embark his successful solo career, the remaining band members eventually announced the break-up one year later.
