HOLLENTHON from Austria has been confirmed for the Ragnarök Festival 7, set to
take place at Ostbayernhalle (D-92286 Rieden/Kreuth) from 29th April till 1st May 2010. Furthermore, the festival has got a Facebook-profile now.

KATATONIA's new video, "Day And Then The Shade", can be viewed here. The clip was directed by Lasse Hoile, who has previously worked with OPETH and PORCUPINE TREE, among others. The song comes off the band's eighth studio album, "Night Is The New Day", which sold around 2,200 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Twice a Man, Portion Control, Edward Ka-Spel
After the first edition of him Vintage Electronics Festival in January pleased all in attendance and left them with happy faces, having just witnessed electronic veterans CLICK CLICK, VOMITO NEGRO and NO MORE., the question whether or not there would be a next festival became completely redundant. For the next edition, no other than the Swedish Electro/New Wave formation TWICE A MAN whose song ‘Decay’ was to become an evergreen in dark scene clubs and saves any further introduction will be headlining the event. Support, if you’d like to call it that way, will be a legend of the Electro genre: PORTION CONTROL from London! With their then-new way of working with samples they were influential for countless bands in the 80s including SKINNY PUPPY.

New Model Army, Laibach, Juno Reactor
Until the beginning of the 90s there’ve been lots of bands causing quite a stir in the independent music scene. Already back then England’s NEW MODEL RMY was at the front line of them. Hits like ‘51st State’, ‘Stupid Question’, ‘Vagabonds’, or ‘Purity’ are still very fresh in the minds of those who’ve witnessed that time. While other bands gather in the spotlights of the media and partly do things that’d put others to shame, reports about NEW MODEL ARMY are rare. Like LEVELLERS also NEW MODEL ARMY are using a term dating back to the times of English civil war for their band name.
