In times where every band that puts together tracks using a standard sound module and vocal distortion in their bedroom is hyped as the new hope in the “Harsh Electro” or “Dark Electro” genre, an album like “Skull And Bones” feels like a cleansing shock. Belgian legend Vomito Negro, who have been active since the mid Eighties, still celebrate their sound with an intensity, creativity and passion that makes most recent hard Electro projects sound like a weekend trip to Disneyland. The spirit of “Skull And Bones” is of the deepest black… no hope, no mercy! Rhythmic loops are thudding relentlessly under dark sound scapes and the heavily manipulated shouts leave no room for sunny feelings. Even after being active for more than a quarter of a century, Vomito Negro are still a trademark name for a club compatible trip to hell that is bound to stir up, unsettle and electrify. The fascination of evil! There are few bands that manage to adapt the most extreme sides of human behaviour to club-compatible electronic sounds as effectively as Suicide Commando, the evil musical brainchild of Belgian Hard-Electro-legend Johan van Roy. On his newest long player ‘Implements of Hell’, he effectively pulls out all the stops of a career spanning more than two decades to send the listener on a rollercoaster ride through all the hellish ingredients that make for the sonic phenomenon known as Suicide Commando. Lashing Aggro-Dance-tracks like the single ‘Die Motherfucker Die’ alternate with heavy, dark and rhythmic synthesizer monsters that are not only a massive modern-day reminiscence of the early works of the band but that also make ‘Implements of Hell’ the darkest excess from Suicide Commando, ever, and the most menacing dance album of the last few years. - Details

The band has decided to release their last ever studio album in May 2010. The band, that became immortal thanks to the mega cult hit "Gothic Erotic", looks back onto an active period lasting for around 20 years now.
