The French duo AIR emerged from the historically relevant city of Versailles in 1995 to present the world their version of what is often referred to as Electronica. With it they’re creating warmth that is often missing in other synthetic music through their increased use of analogue and vintage gear. Their very first album ‘Moon Safari’ has become a classic in the Chillout genre and was their breakthrough at the same time. Ever since, the duo has expanded its capabilities enormously, learned new ways of creating even more thick soundscapes for the listeners to get lost in. But their newer albums also show an increased shift of mood towards more dark shades and experimental structures without getting too mind-focused though.

Beginning of November, SONO released their latest album “Plus”. Currently, the planning of a forthcoming tour is in progress, another date is now confirmed. The band will be playing live at Nachtleben in Frankfurt/Main on 10th March 2010.Confirmed Dates:
