"Eparistera Daimones", the forthcoming debut album by Triptykon, the group founded by former Hellhammer/Celtic Frost singer and guitarist Tom Gabriel Warrior, is not only musically a leviathan. Remarkably, the album will also feature the epic artwork by renowned Swiss artist H.R. Giger and New York-based surrealist Vincent Castiglia. In an exceptionally rare gesture, HR Giger has granted Triptykon the use of his dramatic painting "Vlad Tepes" (work no. 412, 200 x 140 cm, acrylic on paper on wood, 1978). It is the artist's first authorized appearance on an album cover in 17 years, and the second time he collaborates with Warrior (following Celtic Frost's "To Mega Therion" album in 1985).- Details

With a line up already boasting some of the top names in metal, including CHILDREN OF BODOM, FEAR FACTORY, BEHEMOTH, and DEVIN TOWNSEND, the latest addition to the BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR 2010 line up further solidifies an already amazing cast. Finnish melodic metal masters SONATA ARCTICA will be making their only UK festival appearance of 2010 at this year's 10th Anniversary of BLOODSTOCK. After the show on 10th April 2010 in Hamburg being sold-out for weeks now, there are no tickets available anymore for the additional show on 11th April 2010 as well. Therefore, there will be a third show at Docks Hamburg on 12th April 2010. Tickets are available at http://www.emso.de/ as well as at all known ticket agencies. The Electro-Pop band SONO, founded in 2001 in Hamburg, consists of singer Lennart A. Salomon, Florian Sikorski (keyboard) and Martin Weiland (keyboard). The band is characterized by its own diversity: You can find them on the Love Parade as well as on Gothic festivals, in clubs and on big stages. They play DJ-Live-Sequencing-Sets as well as stage shows with rhythm groups.
